Dear Beloved Church Family,
As the leaves fall and the air turns crisp, November invites us into a season of reflection—a sacred pause before the rush of December. It’s a month marked by gratitude, remembrance, and preparation. And in this rhythm, I find myself deeply thankful for each of you.
This year, I’ve watched our community grow in grace. I’ve seen you lead with joy, share wisdom, and gather in worship and service. Whether it’s a quiet prayer whispered in the pews or a boisterous laugh at the lunch table, these moments remind me that the Spirit is alive among us.
November also brings opportunities to live out our faith in tangible ways. As we collect food for our pantry, sign Love Letters, and prepare for Advent, we embody the love of Christ. These acts—small and large—are seeds of hope in a world that longs for compassion.
I encourage you this month to practice intentional gratitude. Not just for the good things, but for the growth that comes through challenges. For the people who stretch us. For the grace that meets us in our imperfections. Gratitude transforms not just our perspective, but our posture toward one another.
Let’s also remember those for whom this season is heavy. Reach out. Offer a listening ear. Invite someone to join you at worship or a church event. Our community is strongest when we extend the table. Let us continue to be known as the most welcoming church.
God is doing a new thing among us—let’s keep our eyes and hearts open.
With love and thanksgiving,
Pastor Nicole
